I doubt it.  It's not like University Park or Calvert Hills were populated by the poor before, but the county as a whole isn't as segregated as MoCo or Arlington.  I think people seem to like UPES, though I have heard some complaints about class size (I don't have kids there, but know people that do).  It's still county administered schools and there are likely a lot of other county schools that are going to be targeted first.  Jr. High and High School still seem to be a major concern unless you are doing religious private or some kind of special program like a charter school or Roosevelt's magnet.  They are currently rebuilding Hyattsville Middle and Maryland has enacted some changes to the school funding formula, but it is still pretty speculative.[/quote]
