I've had asthma and dog/cat allergies for 40+ years, and my goldendoodle's saliva doesn't bother me at all. (she's a pre-pandemic arrival.) we previously had two doodles who were rescues, and the one who had more terrier in her would lick me and I'd get hives. Labrador retrievers and other shiny coat dogs send my asthma into overdrive. I can let this one sleep on the bed, and I'm okay. I still have to be careful of my eyes -- if I touch them without washing my hands, I will swell up. [/quote]
