Way to self-sabotage again, Amelia. Suddenly she doesn't want what she knew Link wanted all along? Ugh. Nice to see Jo happy.
I know. Poor Link. I can’t stand her anymore. If she turns around and suddenly wants to marry him, I will lose my mind if he says yes. Run while you can, Link!
He was beyond lovely about her every last neurosis, yet it's always her way or the highway. Agree, I'm sick of her character.
I feel like one of this show’s signature moves is that the women can be as neurotic and self-sabotaging as possible, and the men still forgive and come back to them. (Remember poor Alex and Izzy?). I guess it at least stands one tired old trope on its head—usually the men are the commitment phobe cheating screw-ups that the women have to rehabilitate through their love. On Greys, at least the women get to be the jerks. I felt like the show had hit a nice stride with Meredith after derek’s death where she was more mature and complex—the dowdiness was a good part of that. But now it just seems really poorly written. And also, WTH was she wearing that cardigan to a wedding? She looked so out of place—like she was freezing and had to pull a sweater out of her car trunk. I loved Amelia’s red dress though.
