Meets don’t start for a few weeks...
Aren’t we jumping the gun? They haven’t sent out any update yet.
It isn’t out officially but they’ve already met, made the decision and reps have been told.
I’m a team rep and haven’t heard or read any updates. Where did other reps hear? Email? Division coordinator? Any news about individual all-stars, all-star relays, Divisionals...?
Apparently All-Star Relays were nixed. Any other meets from what you’ve heard?
The calendar on the NVSL website right now just has the 5 dual meets, nothing else. Hopefully that's not final.
Nothing is final yet. Talk to your reps. They are not sure if they can do all-star relays because of deck spacing. The NVSL board thought if we can’t do All-Star relays they would also cancel divisional relays. People need to speak up. The small board is deciding all these things without the division coordinators talking to their team reps. At minimum, it should be decided division by division of you have a host pool that is big enough and willing to host divisional relays.
Coordinators are asking their team reps right now for their input before voting on masking. The part in bold isn’t true.
The part in bold is what our division coordinator told our division reps. A division could still hold relay carnivals, but it would be unsanctioned.
