Because it's DC. The above is within the realm of normal debate on what's over the line ( agree the torture and wire tapping was!) / irresponsible. It's not that unusual for DC I think.

But Trump and his crass cluelessness was just so awful. He was like the opposite of DC area Republicans even. Which is why he was almost universally loathed up here. If he had shut his mouth and stayed off twitter he might have been a "normal" controversial politician that some like / some hate like Bush. But his inability to be a normal functioning human being was his downfall.
