If this is for lowe elementary or you care about math, Seaton. If 4th grade or older, ITS.
Because Seaton is a rockstar at math, or because ITS isn’t?
Seaton has great MGP scores and differentiates well, according to my friend whose kids go there. ITS does not differentiate math much at all in lower elementary, to my surprise and disappointment.
FWIW this isn't our experience re: math instruction and differentiation. Our kid has been very well served on both fronts, and the math instructional coaches keep getting better and better. Sorry you haven't had a good experience, though.
It seems like in K-2nd they all do the same math and that has been our experience each year. Or at least, there is no way to accelerate in math or to do something more engaging. My kid is bored to tears, literally, and has come to really dislike math class.
This has not been my experience at ITS. Back when they were in school, there were small math groups and at least one was assigned enrichment projects to go above and beyond, either a more difficult version of what the class was doing or a separate project altogether. Even very early (K?) when the class was mostly learning about representing numbers up to 100, several kids did projects that were three-digit numbers with multiple hundreds, tens, and ones. During virtual, a math enrichment group remained, and they use at least one online learning platform that allows kids to progress at their own pace.
