I've mentioned this many, many times but the first thing my long-time neighbours told me when we moved to our place in 2008 is that the block has tons of kids and none of them go to the IB school and they would help us navigate the charters. So we interacted with our neighbors just fine: birthday parties, BBQs, fireworks on the fourth of July and even went to the same school as some of them![/quote]
