I think I've heard them say that we need at least 65-70% of the population to be inoculated from the virus in order to get the benefits of herd immunity. When the vaccine is 95% effective, fewer people have to take the vaccine in order to get that herd immunity. See where this is going? Again, I'm not trying to be an alarmist. Just trying to be a realist, and my main point was we shouldn't wait to get these kids back in school. Because as bad as things are now, we are not out of the woods unfortunately.[/quote]
