Maybe she didn't expect or believe that Norwood was capable of that kind of violence and by the time she realized how dangerous the situation was it was too late to scream (incapacitated). If it had been a stranger, maybe she would have screamed and reacted differently. Or she didn't think there were many people around at that hour? Or Norwood knocked her out first. Wasn't Murray nearly decapitated?[/quote]
