Yes. People whose daughters haven’t played ECNL/GA or watched those games don’t understand how much higher-level the soccer is.  BRYC’s U16 or U17 ECNL teams could probably beat most high school soccer teams around here despite not having won an ECNL game this season. [/quote]

Not true at all, Every team is different. There are some NCSL teams that would beat lo local ECNL teams 9 out of 10 games easily. NCSL and CCL are club decisions based on business partnerships and marketing. ECNL give your team more exposure and travel but by no means does that make them better teams at all. I wish we could do a DMV  open cup for every age u9 thru u19 both boys and girls. The results would put the whole elite thing in a different light. Higher profile clubs and parents would highly be against this. The fear of exposure and having to see themselves for what they really are is not worth it to them.[/quote]
