We talk about it, PP.  I am not controlling, as some have pointed out.  But certainly if I find something objectionable, I will make my views clear.  After all, I did not come from my husband's rib!!

I never knew my friend's father, brothers and BILs were all Masons.  However, when I did ask out of curiosity, she said they were all brought into the fold by her father.  And they're all Jewish, btw, and in some Jewish lodge.

Although I can't see them eating a live chicken's head (LOL!), they are all VERY wealthy (as in being able to wipe themselves with ten dollar bills). So I imagine this lodge is heavily connected.

My friend HATES the whole thing, and while they're not open about their meetings, she says they attend them on a regular basis and brag about their membership [b]as though a way of life[/b].  Their wives are also pretty quiet, and all SAH, appearing to be very supportive of their spouses.  So as far as control is concerned, their husbands seem to have it - NOT the other way around.
