[/quote] No, that’s not right. The company offers a service and quotes a price for it. You choose to work fir that company and so are part of the service provided. If the customer chooses to tip you, that is his decision. It’s when you feel entitled to a tip, or make statements like “if you can’t tip me you don’t deserve to eat here” that you begin to go wrong. You should instead be telling the company “if you can’t pay me a living wage, you don’t deserve to have me as an employee”. By not valuing yourself, you’re only enabling predation by these companies. Drivers have started to confront these companies in the past few years which is why things are now better than they used to be.[/quote]
