Incredibly frustrating.[/quote] I think UVA is a very good school but I would agree overrated in DC metro because 1) there is a big obsession with admission to UVA in the DCUM orbit (that doesn't seem nearly so strong outside of it) and 2) the data I have seen suggests it doesn't really make that much different in outcomes for lifetime earnings or career satisfaction between UVA and other likely alternatives. For initial earnings, at least, the choice of major is much more important. [/quote]
