I've also noticed that white parents tend to gravitate towards spending money on writing tutors/ writing camps or supplementing in other enrichment activities (ex. performing arts) compared to Asian parents.
So if prepping for say math is considered to be unfair and cheating, then I wonder why prepping for writing good essays isn't also considered to be cheating?
If money were the discriminatory factor, then shouldn't all private school students (not on financial aid) be considered to be cheating, as they have used their financial privilege to 'game the system'?

What is it with only standardized test prep that gets the reputation of cheating, when other disciplines that require comparable amounts of resources (money, time, effort) are never touched on in the same way?
No, it can all be viewed as a form of cheating. This is our society unfortunately, the lesser privileged kids, regardless of race, are screwed.
