I am an RSCC parent and was avoiding this thread but I have to respond here because this response totally captured how I'm feeling.  I just don't understand this, and I believe 100% what Betsy wrote (it actually sounds like she had her lawyer review it based on the tone and statement of facts), so I'm inclined to believe there is something else going on here.  Some posters have said the current administration has our children's best interest at heart, but I'm not so sure.  I believe the current administration (minus Betsy) has their own self-preservation at heart, and I'm guessing their decision to terminate her with no notice without consulting the board had something to do with that.  We've already seen other posts from parents about the CEO and Exec Director being vindictive against those who have raised genuine concerns, so I am inclined to believe that may be what happened here.

I am posting anonymously in large part because my child is still at the school.  However, we are looking elsewhere.  While I love the teachers, I believe the current administration has gone astray, and I no longer trust that they will put the school and my child above their own personal career wants.  I am more than happy to come back and attach my name to this post once we have moved my child.[/quote]
