Ok I’ve looked back through the thread and I haven’t seen this one linked. What are people’s thoughts on It: https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/825-8th-St-NE-20002/home/9902379?utm_source=ios_share&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=copy_link&utm_nooverride=1&utm_content=link Seems like people are wary of places right off H. Is that why it’s sitting? It’s already had one price drop. I see they bought it for more than $1.1 in 2014. Did they just overpay then? Or is it normal for something in this price range to sit a while? Can’t figure it out because very few things sit this long in the neighborhood.
That house has a whole thread devoted to it: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/904218.page My summary of the thread: the problems are price, location, layout, the direction the fridge door opens, and staging. Or else $1.3 million is a perfectly reasonable price, the location is fantastic, and people who complain about the fridge door are all idiots (what, you expected consensus on a DCUM thread?). I'm not sure a house anywhere near Capitol Hill can be on the market for more than 30 days without being discussed on the DCUM forums. :)
