That's dc for you -- it's a revolving door of people coming to work for one administration or another. Some of us are locals and here to stay. Do you really think knowing four families who have left means something? Not in this town.[/quote]

That was a DP. I am PP and grew up on Cap Hill in the 80/90s. And not the Eastern market side either. Also there is a difference between native and local.  What I and PP described are native.  Anyone can become a local if they commit to DC because they fall in love with the city. That is what I meant by local.[/quote]
