And go read up on the history of socialism is Sweden. For decades the Swedes implemented exactly what morons like AOC and the fringe left these days call for.  Sweden was dogged for years with anemic economic growth, huge deficits, and inflation.  Sweden didn't become successful until moderates took back the country, scales back socialist programs, REDUCED taxes, and enacted strong capitalist reforms.  Sweden has pro-capitalism laws that'd make US lefties cry.

And the Prime Minister of Denmark had to correct US' idiots on the left a few years back when he gave a speech at Harvard.  He explicitly corrected liberals that Denmark wasn't socialist, but was grounded in very strong capitalist roots:

It would actually behoove the fringe left in the US who thinks they support a Nordic model to actually read up on the history of the Nordic model and how they couldn't get it to work until major pro-capitalist reforms were enancted. [/quote]
