I’m not the pp, but we ran these numbers when we were buying life insurance. It IS a lot to replace a good SAHM. And it’s all post-tax. I’m not saying that it’s hundreds of thousands a year, but i was working PT at the time making about $90k/yr, and replacing my labor around the house was definitely more of a consideration than replacing my income.
