Mexico poster from earlier today. Supposed to leave end of March with my 2 elementary age kids. All inclusive resort, no side trips planned.
Nope.
What does "Nope" mean? Is it "No way would I go."? or "No need to cancel."?
It means no. Because do you want to be quarantined or hospitalize with children in Mexico.
Mexico traveler here (I was not the one who asked for clarification on “nope.”) On what basis would you assume we would end up quarantined? We aren’t coming from, or going to, a place with an outbreak.
NP and we also have a trip with children to Mexico planned. We are likely postponing. There isn’t a known outbreak now but things are changing so quickly. We go frequently to Mexico and have been to doctors there when we have been sick. It has been fine for regular illness but if something should happen we don’t want to risk be quarantined locally. Also, we always meet a lot of people from all over the world when we visit. It is a popular vacation destination for people who live in Europe and other countries. The risk is too high right now since we would be taking our children.
