That may be but the best two players (C&P) are black. Not trying to make this a black/white thing. They came to Deal via OOB. I’m
pretty certain one lives in Shepherd Park but attended another feeder. The point was, the whiter and richer Deal becomes, the less likely they will be able to field a competitive b-ball team in future years. That’s a fact. [/quote]

I’m friends. Can we just agree about the premise of the statement instead of harping one details? Deal will continue to be a soccer/baseball school. Not football/basketball. I say this as a parent with a kid on the team.[/quote]

Again...I’m talking about the future of Deal. How is that so hard to understand? If some people will have it their way, Deal will look like Lafayette and Janney with IB upperclass white kids that are barely 5’ and 80 lbs in 5-10 years. If the pattern continues, Deal will have a hard time against raw athleticism and boys that play b-ball 5-6 times a week and are 5’10 and 160lbs. [/quote]
