If you're asking if I know Kate or have any connection at all to the kids or to Jon - nope.  Just stating my opinion.

Kate is no saint, she has her flaws and I'm sure that she has made her fair share of parenting mistakes along the way.  But I do believe that she loves her kids and truly is trying to do good by them.  I also think that Jon has a mean and selfish streak that is a mile wide.

Yeah, my mother took care of 8 kids on her own (father died young) and she did it without pimping any of us out!

Maybe she loved her kids enough to know that she couldn't do it alone and the help she got from the TLC crew made a huge difference in their lifestyle, upbringing and health.

8 kids are a lot of kids.  Kate used her strengths to make sure that there were always others around to help out.  If she had only had Jon to rely on...shudder.[/quote]
