I live in a MoCo neighborhood with a high number of illegal immigrants and my kids go to school with their kids.  We know many of these families and that is exactly the case for most of them.  They are here to earn money.  Plain and simple.  [/quote]

Wow.  It’s not just the US that gets involved in other countries.  If we’re going to keep track of this, there are some other countries that should be taking in illegal immigrants also.

And there is no way the US is solely responsible for the ills of India, China, Israel, South America, Africa.  We have illegal immigrants coming here from all over the world.  Which countries exactly do you feel we are responsible for, and which do we ignore?

If this is your argument, then you can lobby to provide more opportunities for legal immigration.  But encouraging illegal immigration is not a logical answer by any means.[/quote]
