MKE is just mad that Jim is cutting her off completely. She will be set for awhile.
Dude I think the man with the ironclad pre-nup would know. MKE spends money like its water. She's about to get a rude awakening. Starting with that giant house. He made sure the divorce was filed before she had a chance to move in. No claiming it through spousal rights.
Agree on the prenup. But she’ll get a hefty child support payment so she’ll be ok. What are spousal rights related to a house? I thought generally the courts don’t require you to hold property with someone that you no longer want to and can order a sale?
Hefty and required under the law are two different things. The Missouri judge will decide but I can tell you that rural Southern judges are not going to be super gung-go to award a wife of less than 5 years more than $5,000/mo in child support monthly. That's enough to keep her in-style at Missouri levels but by MKE Hollywood standards her highlighting + salon care regimen costs more in a month. She'll have to pay all that towards private schools, tutors, nannies/babysitters, physical and neuro therapies for the SNs child etc. As for the house, Missouri also isn't a community property state, he has a prenup, and I bet only his name was on the financing. Since they didn't close post-construction phase there is no title. She'll just have to survive in the house she has now. Though I seriously hope that one isn't a rental.
