It is like this in every sport and in every playoff. All these people who aren't plan holders thinking they can just waltz in and snag WS tix are nuts.

Or make friends with season ticket holders!  There’s no way we could go to enough games per year to make a plan worthwhile but my next door neighbors do and we bought a couple tickets off then.

Most mlb teams (but not sure about Nats) have some kind of arrangement with stubhub where they earn some $$ off the tickets sold there. So it’s really to their benefit to let the season ticket holders buy more than they need and sell the extras.[/quote]
