We are past the point of whether they are cause.  They are clearly the means and must be banned and confiscated.

The GOP and 2A supports don't really care about identifying, let alone addressing the cause, or they would let the CDC study gun violence and stop trying to gut Obamacare and our country's precarious social safety net.

It's an excuse they have trotted out over the years to appease the gun lobby and gun fetishists that is no longer working with mass shootings happening every few weeks.[/quote]
