The child did not get half her face “blown out.” The mother texted the Gov with an update to her injuries.

Um, lip, teeth and tongue damage is pretty significant damage to your face.    I get that they are trying to be hopeful and all that, but it is NOT a pretty picture right now.  It can be repaired, but she still will probably not be the same.[/quote]

Lip teeth and tongue is not jaw, cheekbones, eyes and eye sockets, etc. This child is injured but didn’t have her face “blown out.” This child and her family is suffered enough and will go through more suffering and operations. People using her injuries and exaggerating them to prop up their political opinions are despicable. Children with their faces blown out/off aren’t running and playing. You aren’t a doctor and if you are a doctor you arent her doctor so quit using her online to score points with lies.[/quote]

When your side has to argue that a 17 month old really didn't technically get her face blown off, it is not helping people feel generous towards gun owners.  I can't believe this is where we are right now.[/quote]
