All like the 504/IEP coordinators and have no complaints about their plans. But implementation is spotty with some teachers 'getting it' at all and a couple flatly refusing to accept a diagnosis and accomodations (admin has repeatedly told them they have to). At least one of those parents is actively seeking a private school for HS because they are 'done.' DCI certainly not the only MS/HS which doesn't do this well. It is far more complicated starting in MS because students have so many different teachers and if falls to the students to do self-advocate. No clue how children with other diagnoses are faring.
