Does that make me a retiree?[/quote] I think retired means that you are able to live on the income of your investments; you don't have to work for pay in order to meet your living expenses. If you write two blog posts a month and earn money by doing so, enough to meet your living expenses... I'd say that you are "working" and at a really cushy job! (Or else you have unusually low living expenses or something.) If you are paying for your lifestyle from your investment proceeds, but also write a blog post here and there, though you don't really need the money, I'd say you were retired.[/quote]
