Six years out of high school. Y’all are pervs.
In the age of female empowerment, can you please tell me when my daughters will be old enough to make their own dating decisions? I didn't know they were such mental simpletons that they are prey to white collar successful men well into their 20s.
The woman speaking to the power imbalance stated it well.
NP. You didn't answer the pp's question. At what age may a grown woman make her own decision on who she will date?
NP. A grown woman may make her choices on who to date once she turns 18. HOWEVER, we are free to assess those choices just as we do everyone's social conduct. If a 19 year old woman chooses to date a thrice-divorced 65 year old, we will assume that he's a creep and she has emotional/mental health issues.
And regarding the PP’s post about her daughter, how should I explain to my daughter that society views her as worthless after the age of 30?
That’s putting a fine point on it. Not worthless. It’s just that as you get older the age gaps tend to get older for both biological and social reasons. Women aren’t as wired to be attracted to youth because men are basically sperm donors and providers, which they can do well into middle age. The flip side is that women have the option of dating older guys with money, which men can’t generally do. Some young women like the idea of bypassing the typical struggles of early adulthood by marrying an older man. I don’t mean much older, necessarily.
