Can’t be 100% sure, but the poster who periodically tries to revive the Upper McLean/Lower McLean thing always comes across as some old gal who thought moving to a big house in Great Falls or some part of McLean outside the Beltway in the 80s meant they’d really struck gold.  It must bother her to no end when people spurn that area now for closer-in parts of McLean, Arlington, or Falls Church.

The old pecking order really is meaningless now, though it’s still fair to say someone is going to be more likely to spend over $3.0 M on a single-family home in Great Falls or McLean than Arlington or Falls Church. But the percentage of DCUM posters who actually fall in that category has got to be fairly small. [/quote]
