I suspect you'll wait a long time....  FCV is for profit. They don't own their own fields and are always short. They have limited corporate infrastructure and a very small youth program.  GFR is non-profit. They get field space via Fairfax County. They have a large paid and volunteer force that handles logistics and communications. FCV can't provide what would be needed unless "taking over the GFR partnership" really means dissolving the Washington Spirit DA and assuming a few players onto FCV. That would have already happened if it was going to happen for 2019-2020.[/quote]

Yes, but FCV DA is for profit.  And FCV United struggles for field space (which is why practices are constantly canceled when it rains since they don't have access to turf the way clubs in Fairfax County (where the are a LOT more publicly owned turf fields) do. [/quote]
