It’s definitely both.  My sister and her dh have made beautiful biracial kids. Both sides of the family really fetishized their looks especially before they were born.  It really rubbed me the wrong way. Relatives on both sides of the family wanted the children to be light-skinned babies with white features. (I hope he gets his hair, her lips, his nose, her coloring, his eyes) People also went crazy about the idea of having a biracial child with blue eyes. They got big, beautiful brown eyes. [/quote]
