There is a lot of outrage. Heroin cut with Fentanyl is the biggest culprit in opioid deaths. Heroin just after marijuana is the 2nd easiest drug to obtain in this country. Nearly all Heroin is coming over the southern border, direct from Mexican production lines and the thousands of poppy farms in Latin America . There is so much outrage that it is a major national issue with half the country violently against any effort to stop the trafficking over our border. Might as well get used to it. No way in hell will we ever have a secure border. The people don't want it. Your kids will be exposed Heroin is now commonly used and you're just going to have to do your best to protect your own.

I work for CBP and was recently promoted and have moved to DC from a border state (not going to out myself) it is an absolute crisis down there. People pouring over like a title wave with backpacks full of Heroin. For every 1 we catch, I'd bet 10 get over. This shrinkage rate is just the cost of doing business and hardly makes a dent in the supply chain. As far as I'm concerned the military should be at that border. It's a war zone and Americans are dying at rates that would make the nation weep if we were in a traditional war.[/quote]
