I think they can start by wanting something that he openly advertised and promised to lure them in is one part. The other part is the hitting, gaslighting,
Starvation, separation in his house, constant checking in to use the bathroom, not talking but banging and knocking to communicate, isolation from family, recorded sexual acts without consent, brainwashing, his team who protected him and made sure things were in place are the other parts of this sick story.
