Oh sweetie, nearly every neighborhood built before the mid 1960s was purpose built to be at least white.   Even Persians were excluded from my neighborhood covenants unless they were members of a homeowner’s domestic staff.

For their part, Freedmen’s Villages were purpose built for African Americans and post World War II communities, like the former Carver Homes near the Pentagon, were purpose built for African American military.

You can’t do a damn thing about it because of the  pesky constitution and the fact that removing racial covenants woukd affect the chain of title to a property.
