I’m not sure lap belts could have saved these people from a high speed crash. Limousines of that size are difficult to drive. The company I worked for wouldn’t allow anyone without a class A CDL to drive them. Stoping takes some planning. It’s a lot of weight to bring to a halt. [/quote]
