Just election talk. If there is no accountability then what the hell has he been doing all this while? Hogan is incompetent.
With 70% approval rating, the majority of Maryland would disagree with your statement that Hogan is incompetent. I am a Democrat and I disagree with your statement. I applaud Hogan's efforts to look into the problems plaguing Maryland public schools.
No, just proves that the majority of Marylanders believe what they see on commercials, read as bullet points or headlines, and do no research for themselves. Anyone who believes the school accountability position, or the widening ot 270/495 is anything other than election year nonsense is incompetent.
I'm glad you are a mind reader and know what 70% of Marylanders believe. I believe Hogan is trying to close a gap in oversight that county school systems have abused to create individual fiefdoms that blatantly ignore the rights of students. The Office of Accountability is greatly needed. And yes, I will be voting for Hogan this fall even though I am a registered Democrat. As a parent whose child was harmed by an MCPS employee, I will vote for any candidate that is for child safety and is proactively looking into the depths of school safety failures of the county school systems in Maryland. I will gladly share all that I know and have evidence of with the Office of Accountability including documentation of the failure of MCPS school employees to report child abuse and neglect to Child Welfare Services.
There still hasn't been any explanation about how the "Office of Accountability" will do anything that wasn't already possible before.
