OP, I hope you are still reading. I'm a psychic medium. There are several of us on dcum. Maybe others will have suggestions as well. Children are closer to the spirit world than we are mostly for two reasons. One, they haven't been away for as long. They haven't had time to forget. And two, they haven't really learned that they aren't supposed to be perceiving these things. To them it's more normal. They are open. Let's talk about the very, very important concept of Dominion. Simply put, WE run the show in this earth reality. We have dominion over our space. We are in charge. And spiritual beings know it. However, they are also pretty good at picking up on people who don't understand this. And sometimes the lower vibration entities will take advantage of that. It especially happens with earth bound spirits, what some people call ghosts. The spirit your daughter is seeing in her room is causing her fear. Threatening to bite her? Really? I'm pissed off for you and for your daughter! How dare he! He needs to go. Right now. And it's almost always super easy to get rid of an earthbound spirit. Get some white sage. Go into the room when your daughter is not there. Stand in your dominion. Remember that you are in charge. There is nothing to fear. Ghosts are just people who are no longer alive. Tell him to leave. There is no reason to be rude. Simply say - This is my house. You do not belong here. You need to leave this house immediately and do not return. I send you away towards love and light. If you want to add punch to it, ask Jesus or an archangel (Michael is my go-to) for help. You don't have to believe in any of it. Just say the words. Light the sage and gently blow it out so that it is just smoking. Walk around the room with the sage. Don't forget to sage the hell out of the closet. Open the window when you are finished. Voila. Clean room. 99% of the time that's all it takes.
PP, why would a spirit threaten to bite the OP's DD?
Because he is an asshole. Earthbound spirits (ghosts) are just people who have died. Just like in our reality, there are good people and sketchy people. When a person dies, they almost always cross into what we often call "the light". The ones who don't usually fall into one of three categories, in my experience. (1) They are genuinely lost. This can happen after a sudden, unexpected death. It usually doesn't last long. (2) They were not very good people when they were alive and they fear judgment. They believe they will be punished. Or (3) They are still attached to something here on earth. Usually these are people who lived shady lives and are still attracted to it. Drug users, gamblers, .... We still have free will after we die. People have to choose to cross over. Most of the ones who won't are not the kind of people you want around. Talking to deceased loved ones is totally different. These spirits have crossed over. Many are able to "meet us in the middle" for lack of better term. Totally different from communicating with earth bound ghosts. You can tell the difference by how they feel, if that makes sense. The spirit messing with the OP's child is doing it because he can. He knows the child can see him. He knows she is scared. He is just an asshole. The same way he was when he was alive. He needs to go.
These earthbound bad guy spirits, are they bound to the place they died?
I don't think they are. At least not in my experience. I had a client who had a ghost that they thought was attached to their house. It was actually attached to a piece of furniture she purchased at an antique store.
I’ve often wondered about this. I have an old 1930’s floor model radio that I’ve had for decades. In my early 20’s I lived in an old apartment (1930’s-40’s era) that I always thought was haunted. I never saw anything, but I sometimes hear strange sounds-water running when no faucets were on, etc. and would often get a creepy feeling. The apartment after that was also of the same era but didn’t give me the same creepy feeling. Then I got a cat, and the cat would routinely go and sit in the apartment entry way near where I kept the radio and stare at empty space. Sometimes he would tense up and hop around like he saw something. I also started feeling uneasy at times coming in the entry way of that aprtment. That was when I started wondering about the radio. I got married, moved to a 50’s rambler in another state, and then now to a 40’s colonial. I still have the radio but no creepy feelings anymore. But I think my current house has/had the spirit of the original owner in it. When we first moved in and I was spending a lot of time by myself stripping wallpaper and painting, I would get a peaceful feeling and would sometimes talk to her. We’ve been in the house a few years and that energy has faded. So I guess my question is, do spirits inhabiting furniture change when the item is moved from apartment to apartment or house to house? Does the house effect the force of the energy in the piece?
