Last year, my DC was in the pool, but we weren't sure if DC would get in. So we scheduled with WISC for mid-February at GMU. We got the scores back in less than 2 weeks and had them in more than enough time for the appeal (which we ended up needing). DC got in on appeal and I'm sure the WISC scores really helped.[/quote My DS is in the pool this year. He got extremely good score in both NNAT and COGAT. He is always "O" in his academics. He is one of the few kids picked for advanced reading. I submitted my forms. If he is going to be rejected, then it is probably because of GBRS score, Right? If the teacher doesn't agree him as a GT candidate, how would any kind of testing, say WISC is going to help him through the appeal process? Is there a different screening procedure for appeals? Can you let me know the other additional documents you added with your child's WISC scores in your appeal process? It would give me an idea about the documents I need to collect in the next 4 months. thanks for your help,
