The mic could have been cut, they could have gone to commercial, the producer could have intervened and said “we’ll be right back” cut to a song whatever. I think they maybe didn’t anticipate how big of a reaction they were going to get and now it’s damage control time. However, people Can’t look away from a train wreck. You think they will actually lose listeners? Or will the same listeners still tune in to see how the drama unfolds.
