I can tell you where God is not present. God is not present in bullets used to kill God’s perfect creations. Those weapons are idols, craven images, used for destruction. God creates. God recreates. God doesn’t destroy. Want God back in schools? Just look toward the doors that open when the buses let the swarm of vulnerable and beautiful souls off to go about their day. God never left. Want to enact God’s revolutionary love? Stop the killing of innocents. It’s up to us.
