Are you the Anglican poster who just a few pages ago was asked whether you follow Old Testament/Leviticus rules about clothing, etc, and you responded that you didn’t need to because Jesus got rid of those OT rules? Either Jesus got rid of that OT stuff, or he didn’t. I hate to emulate your use of tween language like “logic fail,” but unfortunately it applies here.
I will call myself BBC1 (Bible Believing Christian 1) to differentiate myself from the other excellent poster who is very much like myself who stands on the Bible as the word of God, who does not see it as a book of metaphors and suggestions. I am not Anglican, I'm bible-church non-denominational. If I could find one, I would join a Sabbath Day Southern Baptist church that worships on Saturday but there aren't any. I considered The 7th Day Adventists but their "prophetess" Ellen White doesn't cut it with me, saying things like: "Tea and coffee drinking is a sin, an injurious indulgence, which like other evils, injures the soul." ---if coffee is a sin, I've got a front row seat in hell. I'm doomed. "Cheese should never be introduced into the stomach." ---as much cheese as I've eaten, if it were harmful I would be dead already. It's processed milk for crying out loud. "Eggs should not be placed upon your table. They are an injury to your children." ---just as my ancestors have done for centuries, I ate eggs when I was a child, so do my children. There have been no injuries. "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." - (Luke 16:16)
