[/quote] Yeah, you have to understand a family's frustration if the difference in schools is that stark. I don't think most people would uproot their family if say, they got rezoned from an 8 school to a 6. Maybe even a 5 is worth checking out and giving the benefit of the doubt before deciding. But when you start seeing 3's and 4's at the elementary level it's cause for at least some concern. It's even different than being rezoned to a lower-ranking high school, because by that time your much older teenager has already made friends at his/her feeder school, been involved in extracurricular activities and you've got a pretty good handle on their aptitude and abilities.
