I still love Chanel No.5
Too dated and heavy and sweet.
Yes, it is - too heavy and sweet and I do own the original Chanel No. 5 purchased in France.
I have noticed the same perfumes smell different outside the US.
We were at the Chanel store in Las Vegas recently and got a sample of the reformulated No. 5. It’s too cloying in comparison to the original. No. 5 doesn’t wear well on me after the first few minutes but I love and wear Allure eau de parfum daily. You have to be very close to me to notice - I’ve been told - but I get compliments on it about once or twice a year.
