Except for most of human history?  I have trouble believing some of you on here ever revived a higher education.  Fat men were often wealthy men for most of history because they were the only ones who could afford to get fat.  Seriously, go look at a museum and see what noble medieval armor looked like (hint it was built for a lot of NFL lineman in mind).
