My grandfather was Army during WWII and never mentioned anything about be trained to sit to pee. My Father was Air Force during the VW, and never sat to pee. I was Air Force during GW1, and no one ever told me to sit to pee. My nephew is in the Army, and he doesn't sit to pee.
