Personally, I believe OP wanted to start a bit of a flame war in this thread. It's an inflammatory way to bring up religion ("ho ho your [i]clergy[/i] has "realized" that there is no god, what now Christians?") Even then, I was pretty amazed watching this thread devolve from page 1. (I should point out that I'm neither Christian nor atheist. Just amazed at how bad this thread was.)[/quote]

I'm OP. I came across the article and thought it provided some interesting perspectives from former clergy across different religions. Thought I'd share for discussion. Got a couple "real" responses. The rest was a swirl of hate that seems to linger to the Religion board, like a turd circling the toilet drain.

You all should try a little self-reflection about your own motives for what you've posted. Because most of it stinks.
