My point is that he has really focused on the similarities (and after 12 years at Catholic school he was very familiar with the Old Testament) and the community aspect of Judaism and it has worked for us.  We talk to the kids (9 and 7) about how we are Jewish but that Daddy is Catholic and so sometimes we go to help support him celebrate Christmas, Easter etc., etc.

We're not super religious but the kids went to a religious pre-school and now go to Hebrew School and we try to do Shabbat or go to Shabbat Services every month (the kids love it).  Anyway, works for us.[/quote]
