According to Clapper this morning, to his knowledge, there was no FISA warrant to tap Trump. As such, either he is making it up, or Obama did something illegal. Where is there proof that there was any tapping at all? Are they going to do endless investigations into the previous administration to undermine the IC? Because there otherwise would be no reason for this. The same committees who brought on the endless Benghazi hearings would then be in charge of endless hearings illustrating the failure of the national security and law enforcement communities, while portraying Trump as a victim and this consolidating his power. Jeez, this is nefarious.
Warrantless wiretapping is even more serious if proven to be true. Clapper is in the thick of the whole plot. Congress needs to subpoena WH daily intelligence report from last year to see Obama's involvement.
Exactly.
Oh, horsesh*t. You really think Congress has nothing better to do than go back and examine a constitutional law professor who had an 8 year presidency free of scandal? When was the last time we had that? It's really remarkable that they would not instead take a closer look at the current president, whose very election was a scandal. The guy who - still refuses to show his tax returns, - has no relationship whatsoever with truth, - is brazenly monetizing the office with the help of his family - skipped ethics training - and then announced that no one in his White House was beholden to ethics laws - identified the DOJ, the Intelligence Community and the media as "the opposition" before new curtains could even be hung - then made appeals to all three of those entities to, you know, kinda help him out here - has had three appointments fall from their post (if you count Sessions' recusal) in less than two months. - done more scandalous sh*t in under 100 days than anyone can keep up with. - is very clearly the most untrustworthy person in the federal government. And that's saying something. Why the f*ck should anyone believe HIM when he says Obama should be investigated? You people have really lost your damned minds. Which is, I guess, the Republican plan for staying in power.
